Best Mongolian BBQ in town Update 8/7/24: I have been coming here for years and still think they are the best. Always clean, always fresh food, the cooks do a great job and the staff is friendly and attentive.

Overall, I thought it was okay. The food steaming on the plate from being taken off the barbecue looked very appetizing. The food itself was also quite tasty. But I must say that the guy at the entrance was quite indifferent. We told him that it was our first time visiting their establishment and we needed help to understand how everything worked. He seemed to be forcing himself to talk. I still didn't understand their price difference and how everything worked.

Wowza!! Out on the west coast for some family time and we were told about this local spot. The food here is very delicious. It is like the basic Mongolian grill style restaurants, where you walk up to what looks like a buffet style bar and you pick and choose what kind of noodles, rice, beef, shrimp and other topping you will want in your bowl. They have many options to choose from. And you can apparently go back up as many times as you want. But from experience I was able to make one large bowl (as the bowl portion sizes were large already to begin with). So one bowl had me rolling out of the restaurant full for basically lunch and dinner. Really enjoyed this spot so will definitely come back to it when I visit Cali again. 5 star!!

Very clean inside! The ingredients are fresh and the sauces are delicious. The staff is friendly compared to other Mongolian BBQ locations and they have a good variety of toppings to choose from. They offer shrimp, lamb, crab meat for dinner only. This is by far the best service and Mongolian barbecue I have tried in Sacramento. I have updated the hours by picture as well.

The food at Li’s Mongolian BBQ is fantastic. Fresh ingredients, plenty of choices, and the grill cooks everything just right. The flavors are bold, the portions are generous, and it is exactly what you want from a Mongolian BBQ spot. Service and atmosphere are more average. Staff get the job done but do not go out of their way, and the restaurant can feel a little plain and rushed at times. Nothing that takes away from the meal itself, but it is not the place to expect polished service or a cozy setting. If you are going for the food, you will not be disappointed. Li’s delivers on flavor every time and that is why it stands out.

Probably the best and most consistent Mongolian BBQ in the area. Better meats and veggies than other places. I also like having egg drop soup with my meal which is nice. Generally a solid place to have an inexpensive AYCE meal. If you are stacking a lot of food you might need more spoons of sauces then you think. The servers are nice and friendly. But the restaurant isn't really that clean. 4 stars because I find Mongolian BBQ to be flawed. Cooking already fully cooked noodles, raw meats, and light vegetables tends to end up with unevenly cooked components.

I decided to try this place. Price wise it was $17+ for dinner. Food was good, it is all you can eat so if you like that it'll be worth it. Service was good the atmosphere was ok, older restaurant but it was clean.
